Nursery Row Park - Dispersal Order

Good evening,

This evening my officers are out on patrol covering Nursery Row Park regarding the anti-social behaviour.  I requested from my Inspector that he authorises a dispersal order for the park covering from 12:00 Friday, 11th July until 12:00 Sunday, 13th July.  This authorises both Police Constables and Police Community Support Officers to disperse anyone acting in an anti-social behaviour by way of: drug use, drug dealing, heavy drinking, playing loud music in this park causing alarm and distress to the local community and creating an intimidating atmosphere especially towards women and children.

My officers are currently there and have issued a number of dispersals and community protection warnings.  We will be working until 3am and will be back in again at 7pm.
