Theft of large parcel within communal area

Dear Residents,

 

Please see below details of one recent crime committed in your area from 16/05/2025 - 18/05/2025

 

Residential Burglary of Unconnected Building - ARLINGTON HOUSE, DICKERAGE LANE, NEW MALDEN, KINGSTON UPON THAMES, KT3 

Reference number: 01/7504543/25

Officers investigating a theft of a large parcel which was reported on 18/05/2025 and occurred on 08/05/2025. Victim received confirmation that it would be delivered by Evri on the 6th may. Over the next coming days victim was tracking their item,132cm wall mounted contemporary fireplace from Wayfair which was showing up as delayed with no set date just as delayed. On the 8th of May victim received a message from Evri saying that the item had been delivered and courier left the delivered fireplace in the communal area where unknown suspect/s stole parcel. Update: Victim will be given a reassurance visit and crime prevention advice. Door to door enquiries will be conducted by local officers and also check  if there are any CCTV cameras at location.
